Henry Rollins returns to Nippertown!
The former Black Flag frontman-turned-spoken word artist-actor-writer-talk show host-poet-journalist will come ranting and raving into The Egg in Albany at 8pm on Thursday,
October 31, as part of his spoken word tour, “Henry Rollins: Capitalism.” Of course that date just happens to be Halloween, but making his appearance even more timely, The relentlessly outspoken Rollins’ tour stop comes just two weeks before Election Day. Expect plenty of fireworks.
UPDATE: The Henry Rollins performance at The Egg will take place on Thursday, October 25. Earlier information was incorrect.
Rollins’ upcoming talking tour offers not so much a voting guide as an outside viewpoint – and an unflinching quest for truth that’s sadly lacking in the profit-driven American mass media.
“I will be performing across our fine nation, doing shows in the capital city of each state. We will be going all the way up to election eve,” says Rollins of his 50-state, 51-Capital city tour. “It’s always a great time to be in America, but this will be the highpoint of this year’s tour.”
Tix for Rollins’ Albany appearance are $23 and will go on sale to the general public at 11am on Friday (June 29).
