MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Jerry Sabatini & Sonic Explorers @ the Van Dyck, Schenectady. Trumpeter and Schenectady native Sabatini leads his Boston-based band through selections from their four self-released CDs on Nada Brahma Records, as well as adaptations of music by Sun Ra, Don Cherry, Astor Piazzolla, Rufus Wainwright, John Zorn and traditional folk music from Bulgaria, Greece, India and Ethiopia.
