MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Ernie Williams Remembered: A Night of Music and Memories @ Brown’s Revolution Hall, Troy. In tribute to their late great bandleader who died in March, the Ernie Willams Band – Joe Mele, Mike Kelley, Steve Aldi, Rocky Petrocelli, Charlie Vatalaro and Mark Emanatian – will play a special concert to help raise funds to assist his family in their time of need. With Captain Squeeze & the Zydeco Moshers and the Bluz House Rockers. Door at 6pm; music at 7pm. $10 donation.

MUSIC: Los Straitjackets @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. It’s twang-a-rama time, as the musical masked marauders from Nashville team up for a double bill with Eilen “The Queen of the Minor Key” Jewell and her stellar band. 9pm. $22.

MUSIC: Kim & Clyde @ the Moon & River Cafe, Schenectady. Acoustic, harmony-driven music from Kim Kilby and Steve Clyde. 8pm. FREE.

THEATER: “Cowgirls” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. A Mussmann/Bruce Production featuring Claudia Bruce, Ryder Cooley and John Musall in an evening of songs, story-telling, overhead projections, rolling scenery and silhouette imagery as the cowgirls take charge and make their home, home on the range. 7:30pm. $10; students $5. Also at 7:30pm on Saturday.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: The Tisziji Munoz Quintet @ the Sanctuary for Independent Media, Troy. The guitar great takes you on a spiritual, avant jazz journey with his band, featuring keyboardist John Medeski of Medeski, Martin & Wood. A benefit for Youth Media Sanctuary. 7pm. $10.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Mountain Jam @ Hunter Mountain, Hunter. Day Two continues with music from Gov’t Mule, the Roots, the Travelin’ McCourys with Keller Williams, Gary Clark, Jr., Anders Osborne, EOTO, DJ James Murphy (of LCD Soundsystem), Marco Benevento and lots, lots more on four stages. Music starts at 11:30am.

MUSIC: The Zac Brown Band @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. With Sonia Leigh and Nic Cowan. The first amphitheater concert of the summer kicks things off in country mode. 7pm. $39.50 & $59.50; lawn $29.50.

MUSIC: The Knyghts of Fuzz @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. It’s another fuzz-bustin’, garage-rockin’ happy hour with this month’s special guest, Howe Glassman of Grainbelt. 6pm.

MUSIC: The Treasa Levasseur Trio @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. The Toronto-based singer-songwriter heads into the Caffe in support of her new album, “Broad.” With the Sarah Blacker Duo. 8pm. $10.

FESTIVAL/FILM: Berskhire International Film Festival @ Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, Great Barrington. The big film on Day Two of the fest is the documentary, “Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present,” about the fearless and outrageous performance art veteran. And, yes, Abramovic will be present for a Q&A following the screening. 7:30pm. $22.

MUSIC: Timbre Coup @ Jillian’s, Albany. With Wolfman Conspiracy. 9pm. $12.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival @ Lake George Forum & various locations, Lake George. Yes, it’s Day Two of the annual festival of All Things Elvis. Round one of the Elvis Tribute Artist Competition ($20) takes place from 10am-6:30pm, and if you’re not all Elvised out, there’s the “Tribute to Rock and Roll History” show at 8pm ($45).

MUSIC: The Mallett Brothers Band @ Putnam Den, Saratoga Springs. With Headband Jack. 9pm. $5.
