The festival will run from 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday (May 26 & 27), featuring artisans, story tellers, singers, dancers, interpreters and talks, including performances by the Haudenosaunee Singers & Dancers, as well as storytellers Perry Ground and Kay Olan.
Capping off Saturday’s festival celebration will be a concert by Grammy Award-winner (and 13-time Native American Music Award-winner) Joanne Shenandoah, who will perform at 7pm at the Louis C. Jones Center of the Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown. Priced at $20, tix for the concert are general admission.
Admission to the rest of the Iroqouis Cultural Festival is free with museum admission ($12; seniors $10.50; children 12 and under free).
