The Egg Announces Four More New Concerts

Yes, they just keep on comin’. The Egg in Albany has added four new concerts to its upcoming schedule – three for the fall and one for next spring.

Tix for all four new shows are currently on sale to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday (May 23).

FELIX CAVALIERE
Friday, October 12, 7:30pm, $29.50
In a solo performance, keyboardist-vocalist of the Young Rascals interweaves classics such as “Good Lovin’,” “Groovin’,” “People Got To Be Free” and “I’ve Been Lonely Too Long” with stories of New York in the early ’60s and the creation of one of America’s most beloved rock ‘n roll bands.

RENAISSANCE
Sunday, October 14, 7:30pm, $34.50, Swyer Theatre
featuring the ethereal vocals of Annie Haslam, the veteran British progressive folk-rock band performs two of their timeless albums in their entirety: 1974’s “Turn of the Cards” and 1975’s “Scheherazade and Other Stories.”

DAN HICKS & THE HOT LICKS
Friday, October 19, 7:30pm, $29.50, Swyer Theatre
The walkin’ one and only Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks perform their signature “folk-jazz” music with an irresistible sense of rhythm, hipster lyrical styling, laid-back vocalizing and infamous on-stage wit.

TIME FOR THREE
Saturday, April 27, 7:30pm, $29.50, Swyer Theatre
The category-shattering string trio Time for Three transcends traditional classification, with elements of classical, country western, gypsy and jazz idioms forming a blend all its own that showcases the virtuosic instrumental skills of violinists Zachary De Pue and Nicolas Kendall and bassist Ranaan Meyer.
