Claiming such primary influences as Leonard Cohen and Televison, the six-piece band – guitarist-vocalist Wade Ryff, guitarist Garth Herberg, vocalist-percussion Devon Lee, keyboardist-vocalist Breanna Wood, bassist Oliver Hild and drummer Lucas Ventura – live up to that promise on “Year of the Witch.”

Now Nippertown audiences will get the chance to see what the band can do live. RACES will be making their Capital Region debut with a special Hump Day Happy Hour performance at 6pm on Wednesday (May 16) at Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany. Tix are $5.

BUT WAIT… Have we got a deal for you! We’re giving away A PAIR OF FREE TIX to the show to one lucky Nippertown reader! To enter the contest, just post a comment below.
