IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Want more Bruce Springsteen? Sure you do! Well, Bruce and the E Street Band are headed back to upstate NY for a show at Vernon Downs in Vernon (located just off the NYS Thruway between Utica and Syracuse) in August. Tix are general admission, priced at $108 and will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Saturday (April 28).

Lyle Lovett is returning for his second consecutive summer to Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown. The show will take place at 8pm on Friday, July 27. Tix are $55 in advance; $60 at the gate; children 12 and under FREE. Overnight on-site camping is available for an additional $15. Tix are slated to go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Pop-rockers Train will be returning to Tanglewood in Lenox for the second consecutive summer. Andy Grammer and Mat Kearney are slated to open the show.

Northern Lights has added a batch of big new concerts this week, including the hard-hitting electronica of Feed Me at 8pm on Thursday, May 24. Tix are $25 in advance; $27 at the door. Other new shows on NL’s summer line-up of concerts are Immortal Technique at 8pm on Friday, June 15 ($15 in advance; on sale at 10am on Saturday); Ted Nugent’s Great White Buffalo Tour at 8pm on Wednesday, July 11 ($25 in advance; on sale at 10am on Friday); and the Summer Slaughter tour featuring Cannibal Corpse and Between the Buried and Me with the Faceless, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Job for a Cowboy, Goatwhore and Exhumed at 2:30pm on Thursday, August 9 ($25 in advance; on sale at 10am on Friday).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: An all-star-benefit concert “New Yorkers Against Fracking: An Urgent Call to Action” co-hosted by sctors/activists Mark Ruffalo and Melissa Leo has been slated for The Egg in Albany. Among the musicians slated to perform are Natalie Merchant, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Citizen Cope, the Felice Brothers, Joan Osborne, Tracy Bonham, Toshi Reagon, Dan Zanes, Ida, the Horse Flies and the Ahkwesasne Women Singers. NOTE: Yoko Ono – who was originally announced as a performer – has cancelled her appearance.

Mountain Park in Holyoke is hosting a benefit concert for Allie’s Five O’Clock Fund, the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute on Saturday, July 21. Dubbed the Summer State of Mind Concert, the event will feature performances by Led Zeppelin tribute band Get the Led Out, Pink Floyd tribute band the Machine and Rum Runners. Showtime is 4pm, and general admission tix are $25; kids $15; VIP tix are $100, which includes a buffet). Meanwhile, Jackson Browne will also be bringing his Summer Acoustic Tour 2012 to Mountain Park on Wednesday, August 1. Sara Watkins (formerly of Nickel Creek) opens the show at 7pm. Priced at $46, $56 & $76, tix are slated to go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 4.

CANCELLED: Originally slated for Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany on Friday (April 27), Pete Francis & the iis have cancelled their show due to health reasons.

Led by unhinged, high-energy frontman Honus Honus, quirky Philadelphia avant-popsters Man Man will take over the upstairs stage at Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany on Saturday, June 2, in support of their fourth album, “Life Fantastic,” produced by Bright Eyes’ Mike Mogis for Anti- Records. Tix are $13 in advance; $15 at the door and will go on sale at 12noon on Friday (April 27).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Egg in Albany has added three new shows to its fall concert season – the David Bromberg Big Band, Arlo Guthrie and Natalie MacMaster.

Club Helsinki in Hudson welcomes Noam Pikelny & Friends at 8pm on Thursday, July 19 ($18 in advance; $22 at the door); and seven-string guitarist Charlie Hunter at 9pm on Friday, October 19 (ticket price TBA).

POSTPONED: The show by comedian Darrell Hammond – originally slated for the Palace Theatre in Albany on Friday, April 27 – has been postponed to an yet-to-be-determined date in the fall due to slow ticket sales.

Tony Award-winning singer-actress Betty Buckley brings her new cabaret show, “Ah, Men! The Boys of Broadway,” to the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington at 7pm on Sunday, August 19. Tix are priced at $55 & $70; VIP tix are $150, including a reception. Tix go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 4.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls will play host to the headbangin’ Trespass America tour this summer, featuring Five Finger Death Punch with Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Pop Evil, Emmure, God Forbid and Battlecross. Tix go on sale to the general public of Saturday.
