New Rock Concert Chugs into Tanglewood in August

Tanglewood in Lenox is shifting gears from jazz to rock for Labor Day weekend this year. With the demise of the annual Tanglewood Jazz Festival, more dates have opened up on Tanglewood’s potential concert calendar, and one of them has just been filled with a return appearance by pop-rockers Train, who will pull into town in support of their new album, “California 37.”

Having made their Tanglewood debut last August, three-time Grammy Award-winners Train return for an encore performance on Friday, August 31. Opening the show at 7pm will be Andy Grammer and Mat Kearney.

Priced at $22-$88, tix are slated to go on sale to the general public at 10am on Saturday, April 28.
