Win FREE TIX to Hot Club of San Francisco @ Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on Saturday

In the spirit and tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, the Hot Club of San Francisco knows that it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing…

And the west coast Gypsy jazz group certainly knows how to bring the swing, and that’s exactly what they’ll do when they step into the spotlight at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on Saturday evening.

The Hot Club of SF performs many of the revered songs by Reinhardt and Grappelli, but the group also incorporates the original works of guitarist Paul Mehling and violinist (and two-time Grammy Award-winner) Evan Price, along with tunes from from the songbags of diverse composers ranging from Claude Debussy to Jelly Roll Morton.

The Hot Club of San Francisco takes the stage at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy at 8pm on Saturday (April 21). Tix are $20, $25 & $30; students $15.

BUT WAIT… Have we got a deal for you! We’re giving away A PAIR OF FREE TIX to the show to one lucky Nippertown reader! To enter the contest, just post a comment below. Please leave your email address, too. We won’t publish it, but we’ll use it to contact you if you win. The winner will be selected at random and notified on Friday. Enter today!
