FILM: People’s Pixel Project @ the Wood Theater, Glens Falls. The Lake George Arts Project presents a festival of 17 short, very short and even shorter award-winning videos, as they celebrate the filmmaking talents of artists from Chestertown, Diamond Point, Niskayuna, Queensbury, Rensselaer, Schuylerville, Saratoga Springs and Troy. 3pm. $10.

MUSIC: Joan Osborne @ The Egg, Albany. Yeah, she scored a smash pop hit with “One of Us” 15 years ago, but don’t hold that against her. FILM: “Gerhard Richter Painting” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Director Corinna Belz gives us a glimpse inside the studio and the creative process of one of the world’s greatest living painters. 5:30pm. $7; students $5.

FILM/Discussion: “Wretches & Jabberers” @ Crandell Theatre, Chatham. Special Needs Program Film Forum 2012 screens the Gerardine Wurzburg documentary chronicling the world travels of disability rights advocates, Tracy Thresher and Larry Bissonnette, in a bold quest to change attitudes about the intelligence and abilities of people with autism. Tresher and Bisonnette will be on hand for the screening. 2pm. $15.
