MUSIC: The Joe Krown Trio @ Red Square, Albany. After delivering a monster show last year, the New Orleans-based jazz-blues trio featuring Hammond B-3 organist Joe Krown, along with guitarslinger Walter “Woldman” Washington and drummer Russell Batiste, Jr., is headed back into the Square. STREET THEATER: Bread & Puppet Theater @ Church Street & Brandow’s Alley, Catskill. Performing “Upriser Calisthentics” in conjunction with the city-wide “Wall Street to Main Street” art exhibition. 12noon. FREE.

THEATER: “Julius Caesar” @ Proctors, Schenectady. Et tu, Bruté? The struggle of power. The clash of arms. The back stabbing. The Acting Company presents a new production of William Shakespeare’s classic, one of the greatest political dramas of all time. 8pm. $15, $20 & $25.

MUSIC: Dan Johnson & His Expert Sidemen’s Americana Tuesday @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. Stop by and drop a few bucks in the kitty so the guys can finish their debut album, “Sleep On the Way.” 8pm. $5.

MUSIC: Sarah Fimm @ BSP Lounge, Kingston. Singer-songwriter-keyboardist Fimm wraps up her month-long Tuesday night residency with a finale performance in which she’ll be joined by Shana Falana and Amanda Jo Williams. 8:30pm.

DISCUSSION: Jennifer & Kevin McCoy @ EMPAC at RPI, Troy. A fireside chat around a virtual fire with actual s’mores/hot chocolate and a discussion about careers in the experimental arts with a pair of RPI alum and artists, in conjunction with their exhibit, “Index,” which opens on Monday. 6:30 PM.
