MUSIC: The Last Conspirators @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. Politico-punksters celebrate their fifth anniversary with a batch of new songs. With the Knyghts of Fuzz, including a special tribute to the 30th anniversary of the demise of the Morons, featuring TL Stone and Max “The Sax” Media. 9pm.

MUSIC: Ferron @ the Eighth Step at Proctors, Schenectady. The marvelous singer-songwriter makes a stop in the Electric City in support of her latest album, “Boulder.” With Karen Savoca & Pete Heitzman. 7:30pm. $28.

MUSIC: Hair of the Dog @ the Parting Glass, Saratoga Springs. Fresh from their sold-out CD release party/St. Pat’s Day throwdown at Revolution Hall, Rick Bedrosian and the boys bring the CD celebration to the Spa City. 8pm.

MUSIC: Avondale Airforce @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. CD release party for the debut of the experimental, psychedelic guitar-and-vocals duo of Peter Aaron & Stanton Warren. Sharing the bill will be guitarist Alexander Turnquist and DJ Lunar Moss. 9pm. $10.

THEATER: Bread & Puppet Theater’s “4 Puppet Shows from the Republic of Cardboard” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. The all-female cast of the political but poetic troupe performs “Naked Cop,” “Dire Circumstance Jubilation in Broad Daylight,” “Demand Rises as Unrest Continues” and “Commodity-Future-Trading-Commission-Comedy.” 8pm. $12.50; students $7.50. MUSIC: Vox Audio @ the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Troy. Five unique world-class vocalists use no instruments other than their own voices to create complex rhythmic drumbeats, thumping bass lines and searing guitar-like solos – their voices are every instrument in the band. The interactive performance promises to combine tight harmonies, hilarious improv and vocal sound effects to create a unique musical experience. 8pm. $25, $30, $35; students and children $15.

TALK: Shirley MacLaine @ Proctors, Schenectady. The always outspoken dancer, author and Academy Award-winning actress talks about her long career, screens films clips and engages the audience in a Q&A. 8pm. $20, $40, $50, $55 & $70.

FILM: “Gerhard Richter Painting” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Director Corinna Belz gives us a glimpse inside the studio and the creative process of one of the world’s greatest living painters. 5:30pm. $7; students $5.
