Club Helsinki in Hudson has landed a bunch of new shows for the spring season, including Spottiswoode & His Enemies at 9pm on Saturday (March 24) ($15 in advance; $18 at the door); Zach Deputy at 8pm on Thursday, March 29 ($15 in advance; $18 at the door); Canadian-Celtic band Enter the Haggis at 9pm on Friday, March 30 ($20 in advance; $22 at the door); reggae band Royal Khaos at 9pm on Saturday, March 31 ($12 in advance; $15 at the door); Tommy Stinson and Elvis Perkins in a benefit for Timkatec at 8pm on Tuesday, April 10 ($15 in advance; $20 at the door); the Victor Wooten Band at 8pm on Wednesday, June 6 ($25 in advance; $30 at the door).

SOLD OUT: Tix for the Dave Matthews Band at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs on Saturday, June 9 are now officially sold out – both amphitheater and lawn tix. There are still a limited number of lawn tix available for DMB’s SPAC show on Friday, June 8. Don’t dawdle…

The fabulous Felice Brothers are headed into Jillian’s in Albany at 8pm on Friday, May 11, kicking off Albany’s Tulip Festival weekend. Eastbound Jesus will open the show. Tix are $18 in advance; $20 at the door.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Egg in Albany announced another handful of new concerts earlier today, including Glen Campbell, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, New Riders of the Purple Sage and, as we sneak-previewed last week, Matthew Sweet.

CANCELLED: Due to health-related concerns, west coast garage rockers Bare Wires have been forced to cancel their tour, including their show that was slated for Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany on Sunday (March 26). Bummer…

There are a batch of new shows on tap at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, including the Spampinato Brothers at 9pm on Saturday, April 28 ($20); Stick Men featuring Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto and Markus Reuter at 8pm on Sunday, April 29 ($20 in advance; $25 at the door); Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion at 8pm on Thursday, May 10 ($10 in advance; $12 at the door); Texas iconoclast Kinky Friedman at 9pm on Saturday, June 23 ($30); and the marvelous Richard Thompson at 8pm on Thursday, July 19 ($25, $35 & $55).

SOLD OUT: The solo concert by John Zorn at EMPAC at RPI in Troy at 8pm on Tuesday, April 3 is now officially sold out.

Led by Chris Barron, veteran jam-band popsters the Spin Doctors are headed into Vapor in Saratoga Springs at 9pm on Thursday, May 17. Tix are $30.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, PART II: The SnowMont Music Festival featuring the Flaming Lips, Snoop Dogg and more – which was originally slated to take place at Killington Resort in Killington from March 30-April 1 – has been cancelled. Refunds are available at the place of purchase.

The Linda in Albany has rolled out several upcoming concerts, including Texas music legend Ray Wylie Hubbard at 8pm on Monday, May 14 ($17); “An Evening of Adirondack Music With Doug Irving and Friends” featuring C.B. Smith, Mark Tolstrup, Nancy Walker, Kate McDonnell, Gary Moon, Phil Henry, John Kribs, Alan Dunham, Elizabeth Wingo, Marc Clayton and more at 8pm on Friday, June 22 ($16); and acoustic blues singer-songwriter Chris Smither at 8pm on Saturday, August 11 ($25).

SOLD OUT: If you haven’t already purchased your tix, it looks like there’ll be no Fun. for you on Friday, April 27. Riding high on their No. 1 hit “We Are Young,” Fun.’s show at Northern Lights in Clifton Park is now officially sold out.

Conspirator – featuring Aron Magner and Marc Brownstein (of the Disco Biscuits) and Chris Michetti of RAQ – invades Northern Lights in Clifton Park at 8:45pm on Thursday, April 26. Sharing the stage will be Blockhead and Dirty Paris. Tix are $15 in advance; $17 at the door. And for something different, also new on Northern Lights’ calendar is the Jim Breuer Heavy Metal Comedy Tour, which lands in Clifton Park at 8pm on Saturday, June 9. Tix are $23 in advance; $25 at the door.

POSTPONED: “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” – originally scheduled for Friday (March 23) at the Palace Theatre in Albany, has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict. The new date for the performance is 7pm on Saturday, September 15. Tix for the original date will be honored for the new date. Refunds are also available at the place of purchase. NOTE: “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” will go on as scheduled, however, at 8pm on Saturday (March 24) at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield. Tix are $20-$45.

Ben Harper’s upcoming solo acoustic tour will bring him to the Calvin Theater in Northampton at 8pm on Sunday, October 7. Priced at $35 and $45, tix will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (March 23).
