Since wowing the crowds at LarkFest back in 2009, Chicago-based indie rockers Company of Thieves have transformed Nippertown into their home-away-from-home with repeated tourstops. In just two and a half years, charismatic frontwoman Genevieve Schatz and the boys have graced the stages of Revolution Hall in Troy, Mountain Jam in Hunter, the Colony Cafe in Woodstock, Jillian’s in Albany, Northern Lights in Clifton Park and PearlPalooza in Albany.
And those frequent return visits to town have paid off handsomely for the band, whose most recent Nippertown concert last month found them rockin’ in front of a jam-packed, sold-out crowd at Jillian’s. Joining in the festivities were young Vermonters Zac Clark & the Young Volcanoes, as well as local favorites the Erin Harkes Band and Wild Adriatic.
