OK, like many of you, I had assumed that the Beatles’ tribute shit hit rock bottom with the oh-so-unfab film, “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” starring Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees.

As bad as that was, no, that wasn’t the worst.

Consider comedian Bill Cosby yelling his way through “Sgt. Pepper” accompanied by the Watts 103rd St. Rhythm Band on his 1968 album “Bill Cosby Sings Hooray for the Salvation Army Band”…
