TALK: Le Ly Hayslip @ Union College’s Nott Memorial, Schenectady. Campus Action and Union College student Nirmala Jayaranan present the author of “When Heaven and Earth Changed Places: A Vietnamese Woman’s Journey from War to Peace” and “Child of War, Woman of Peace,” recounting her experience as a young woman whose life was devastated by the war in Vietnam and her life as a refugee in the war’s aftermath. Her memoirs were the basis for Oliver Stone’s 1993 film “Heaven and Earth.” 7pm.
