Festival Fever: WCDB 34th Anniversary Music Festival @ Valentine’s, 3/2-3/12

UAlbany’s radio station WCDB-FM is celebrating its 34th anniversary in March, and the station is throwing a big, rockin’ fest at Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany in honor of the occasion. The two-day celebration will take place on Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3, beginning at 5pm. Eight bands will be performing each day, taking over both the upstairs and downstairs stages.

As we announced earlier this week, Boston’s fab hard-rockin’ power trio the Neighborhoods will be playing the bash on Saturday, March 3.

Now WCDB-FM has announced the rest of the line-up (or most of it, at least) for the WCDB 34th Anniversary Music Festival, and it’s looking like the social event of the semester.

Here’s the roster of bands:

Barons in the Attic (CD release show)
The Parlor (formerly We Are Jeneric)
Avi Buffalo
The Hanslick Rebellion (reunion show)
Around the World and Back
The Slaughterhouse Chorus
If Madrid

Titus Andronicus
Brian Dewan
The Neighborhoods
Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo Banned
Matthew Carefully
Ramblin Jug Stompers
Secret Release

Additional bands will be announced shortly.

Single day tix are $10 for Friday, March 2; $17 for Saturday, March 3. Two-day all-fest tix are also available for $25.
