Martin Sexton is a down-home virtuoso with a voice that can groan like an alternative rocker, slide like a soul man or leap up to a pearly falsetto. Singing about restlessness and love while he picks syncopations on his guitar, he can turn an ordinary song into a jazzy showcase, and a good one into a transmission from the heart. Sexton will perform solo and acoustic.

Sunday, April 1, 7:30pm, $34.50
Joan Osborne burst on the scene 15 years ago with the album “Relish” and the smash hit “One Of Us,” scoring seven Grammy nominations. She has since demonstrated her versatility as a singer with recordings of blues, soul, rock and country music, touring with the Funk Brothers, the Dead and the Dixie Chicks. Osborne will appear with her band in support of her new blues-flavored album, “Bring It On Home,” which was recorded in Hudson. The album is slated for release on March 27.

Cam’t wait for Joan–been a fan since her days playing The Metro in Saratoga back in the early ’90s.
