Since June, the streets of downtown Albany have been graced with the marvelous kinetic sculptures of the world renowned artist George Rickey.

At 5:30pm on Thursday (January 19), Philip Rickey, the son of the late sculptor, will offer a talk about his father’s art in a lecture titled, “George Rickey: A Discussion of His Work and Development,” sponsored by the Downtown Albany BID.

The hour-long talk will take place at the Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany. Admission is free, but space is limited, so RSVPs are requested.

  1. Hello! Thanks for getting over to Albany Barn’s Stage One Gallery and mentioning our exhibit “Awash in Color” this month! Id like to request an actual review, if you have time. I’d like your opinion on my current body of work. Thank you so much!
