James Taylor made his long awaited theatrical debut as Bob Cratchit in the Berkshire Theatre Group production of Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” last weekend. Audiences flocked to see the renowned singer, joined by members of his family and a stage full of Berkshire residents make merry in the classic tale of the holiday unfolding all around us even as I write.
Thanks to Ken Regan and Camera 5, plus the helpful staff of the Berkshire Theatre Group, we are happy to give you a visual review of this wonderful show and its cast, every person a true star.
Known for his hits “Fire and Rain” and “Carolina in My Mind,” Taylor also penned songs for the Broadway musical Working. He makes his stage debut under the direction of Eric Hill, who also adapted the production and stars as Scrooge. Performances are Dec. 17. through Dec. 30 at the Colonial Theatre.
