Win FREE TIX to the Albany All Stars Roller Derby on Saturday!

The Albany All Stars Roller Derby League

Go get ’em, gals!

Saturday evening is the last bout of the year for the Albany All Stars, and the gals are lacing up their skates for a battle royale against the Broome County Rollers Parlor City Tricks.

Post continues below...

With plenty of fishnets and flying elbows, the action takes place at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany on Saturday (December 3). Doors open at 6pm, and the opening whistle blows at 7pm. Tickets are just $10 in advance; $12 at the door; and $4 for children under 12. Derby-goers are also encouraged to bring along a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.

The Deadbeats will be providing plenty of Dead-a-licious live music from 6-7pm, as well as during the intermissions. A portion of the evening’s proceeds go to benefit the Santa Speedo Sprint.

BUT WAIT… What’s this? A FREE pair of tickets? That’s right, we’re giving away a pair of FREE TIX to a lucky Nippertown reader! To enter the contest, just post a comment below. Please leave your email address, too. We won’t publish it, but we’ll use it to contact you if you win. The winners will be selected at random and notified on Friday. Good luck! Congratulations, Graceful J!

Oh would REALLY love these tickets!! I’ve always wanted to get to a roller derby game and I never have been able to make it!! I live in New Paltz, but will actually be in Albany this weekend. I won’t be able to go w/out the free tix though- funds are pretty tight right now. It would make my weekend to get to see this game!!
