Howard Glassman Takes to the Airwaves at WEXT-FM

He’s the guitarist-vocalist-bandleader of the cow-punkin’ Grainbelt

He’s the owner-manager of Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany…

And now he’s also the newest DJ on WEXT-FM.

Yes, Howe Glassman will be debuting his new radio show, “The Fabulous Sounds,” on WEXT-FM at 1pm on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24) with a four-hour, gut-busting special edition that won’t likely include anything that could even remotely be called “dinner music.”

“It’s gonna be super hot and filled with songs that only Howard could find to play,” explains WEXT honcho Chris Wienk. “There will be plenty of great rock classics from just off the beaten path. He’ll mix in great Local 518’ers, and a good dose of new independent releases. Plus, he’s left the door open to allow just about anything to play.”

Two days after the Thanksgiving special, “The Fabulous Sounds” will make its debut in its regular weekly time-slot, hitting the airwaves from 10pm-12midnight on Saturday, November 26.
