Double-Barreled “This Is Broadway” a Bigger Than Ever Benefit for Berkshire Theatre Group October 28-29 [Berkshire on Stage]

This is Broadway

Every year for the past decade, local entertainment legend Ted Concepcion and his partner Donna Vidoli have nurtured the growth of their snazzy group Romance, Soul and Rock N’ Roll. Berkshire audiences love their energy, pizazz and variety of musical styles. There’s never a dull moment when Ted’s friends and company take the stage to once again bring the energy of Broadway to the Berkshires. Accompanying the singers and dancers on stage will be a local band headed by David Picard.

For the second year in a row, Concepcion and Company have decided to throw this on-stage party to benefit the gorgeous Colonial Theatre, and they will fill its large stage with more than 40 singers, dancers and musicians as they celebrate This is Broadway with their local fans. But this year there is even more. Because last year was a sell-out (the word of mouth on this show is just terrific) they have expanded it to cover two consecutive evenings, October 28 and 29 at 7:30 pm. And while it may be a benefit, it is an affordable one: who can’t come up with the $15 or $20 ticket price. All proceeds benefit the new Berkshire Theatre Group, the combined forces of the Colonial Theatre and the Berkshire Theatre Festival.
