MUSIC: Anonymous 4 @ the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Troy. Veteran four-woman a cappella ensemble. 7:30pm. $30, $35.

MUSIC: The Indigo Girls @ The Egg, Albany. Amy Ray and Emily Saliers step into the spotlight in support of their new album, “Beauty Queen Sister.” With Common Ritual. 7:30pm. $32.50, $38.50, $55.

MUSIC: North Mississippi All Stars @ the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. Brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson join forces with bass monster Chris Chew to spin through their own brand of the blues, complete with lots of slide guitar and some washboard, too. 8pm. $20, $35.

MUSIC: Gym Class Heroes @ Northern Lights, Clifton Park. The band is back with “The Papercut Chronicles II” (due out next month), their first album since 2008’s “The Quilt.” With the Dirty Heads, Outasight and Sam Ventura. 7:30pm. $25. UPDATE: Gym Class Heroes and Sam Ventura will not be performing this evening. Mirk has been added to the bill. Showtime has been changed to 8pm, and tix are $20.

READING: Philip Schultz @ UAlbany’s Campus Center Room 375, Albany. The Pulitzer Prize-winning poet is the author of the new memoir, “My Dyslexia,” a first-hand exploration of the mind’s ability to triumph over its own disabilities. 8pm. FREE.
