Legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Famer-drummer-singer-mandolinist-and-sometime actor Levon Helm frequently hosts his marvelous Midnight Rambles at his Woodstock home/studio. Yes, they’re rather pricey affairs, but they’re worth it. In fact, there’s a ramble scheduled for 8pm on Saturday (October 15) with special guest J.D. Souther joining in the festivities.
This Sunday afternoon (October 16), however, is the annual Fall Farm Festival at John Gill’s Farm in nearby Hurley, and Levon and his band will be playing for free. And you definitely can’t argue with that price point.
It’s a fun, family-friendly fest complete with face painting, food, a hay tunnel and, of course, the Pumpkin Cannon.
