CD Release Party: Seth & the Moody Melix @ SPAC’s Spa Little Theater, 9/23/11

Seth and the Moody Melix

Formerly at the helm with hard-rockers Wetwerks, singer-songwriter Seth Warden is currently making a different kind of music in a number of different incarnations – solo, with Wardsteiner (a duo with Michael Steiner)and with Kevin McKrell & Train of Fools.

Now he’s adding yet another new name to the list – Seth & the Moody Melix. And he’s aiming at a completely different target demographic: kids.

Yes, Seth & the Moody Melix – also featuring two of Warden’s Train of Fools bandmates: fiddler Doug Moody and percussionist Brian Melick – play children’s music, and the band is celebrating the release of their debut CD, “Hi, Hello, How do you do?,” with a family-friendly show at SPAC’s Spa Little Theater in Saratoga Springs at 7pm on Friday. Tix are $15; kids 12 and under $10.
