If you recover from last weekend’s Shamrock-N-Roll Festival in time, there’s a whole bunch more power-packed Irish music headed our way this weekend when the 15th annual Irish 2000 Music and Arts Festival takes over the Saratoga County Fairgrounds in Ballston Spa on Friday and Saturday.

More than 30 musical acts are slated to perform, including Carbon Leaf, Gaelic Storm, Enter the Haggis, Celtic Cross, Glengarry Bhoys, Black 47 and the Clancy Legacy.

On Friday, the fest kicks off at 5pm, and all of the music will be featured on the main stage:

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16
5:10pm: Emish
5:55pm: The Fenians
6:50pm: Carbon Leaf
7:45pm: Seven Nations
8:50pm: Gaelic Storm
10:15pm: Enter the Haggis

On Saturday, three stages will be fired up, making for non-stop music from 11am til 11pm:

In addition to all of the music, the fest also features a dance stage with lessons and performances by schools of Irish dance, a Celtic Kids Area with rides and games, as well as more than 100 food and craft vendors.

Single day tix are $16 in advance; $20 at the gate. A special two-day pass is $25, by advance sale ONLY. Children under the age of 10 are admitted free. There is a $3 parking fee.

Advance tickets are available at all Price Chopper Supermarkets through Thursday (September 15). Price Chopper customers receive an additional $1 off tickets purchased at the supermarkets when they show their AdvantEdge Card.
