As we announced earlier this week, Phish is playing a benefit concert at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, VT at 7pm on Wednesday (September 14). All proceeds (plus all merchandise sales) will benefit the WaterWheel Foundation and the Vermont Community Foundation to aid in the clean-up and recovery for the victims of the recent hurricane/flood damage in the band’s home state of Vermont.
Priced at $75, tix will go on sale at 10am tomorrow (Saturday, September 10).
Here’s the official notice from the Phish folks:
“In order to ensure that a large allotment of tickets is available to local residents, the public onsale will be in-person and cash only.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Saturday, September 10th at 10AM ET at the Flynn Theatre Box office (located at 153 Main Street, Burlington, VT). Tickets will NOT be available online. There will be a limit of two tickets per person. We ask that you not arrive at the box office until Saturday morning.”
