FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Tanglewood Jazz Festival @ Tanglewood, Lenox. It’s Day Two of the three-day fest that caps off Tanglewood’s summer season. Today its “Judy Carmichael’s Jazz Inspired” featuring Blythe Danner at 2pm; and the double-header Latin Jazz Tribute to Cachao with the Federico Britos Sextet & the John Santos Sextet at 8pm. MUSIC: Bob Weir @ Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. Dead man strumming… solo and acoustic. 9pm. $60. UPDATE: SOLD OUT. Related story.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: moe.down @ Gelston Castle Estate, Mohawk. It’s Day Two of the three-day fest with performances slated by TV On the Radio, Railroad Earth, Slightly Stoopid, the Brew, Gary Clark, Jr. and, of course, moe. Music starts at 12noon. Related story/schedule.

FESTIVAL/GAMES/MUSIC/MORE: The Capital District Scottish Games @ the Altamont Fairgrounds, Altamont. Pipe and drum bands, the Brigadoons, the Fighting 86’s, Kevin McKrell, caber toss and all things Scottish. 10:30am. $22; children 12 and under free. Also on Sunday. Related story.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC/CLASSIC CARS: Uncle Sam Blues Jam @ Prospect Park, Troy. With Stuck On Stupid, Emerald City, Blue Machine. 12noon; music at 2pm. FREE. Related story.

MUSIC: Bela Fleck & the Flecktones @ Belleayre Music Festival, Belleayre Ski Area, Highmount. The banjo explorer returns with his original line-up, including harmonicat Howard Levy. 8pm. $36, $46, $56, $66; lawn $25.

THEATER: “Kuntsler” @ Barrington Stage Co.’s Stage 2, Pittsfield. A staged reading of Jeffrey Sweet’s play about radical lawyer William Kuntsler. Starring Jeff McCarthy. 4pm. $15. Also 7:30pm on Sunday.

FAIR: Fonda Fair @ the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, Fonda. Today’s big attraction at the fair is an 8pm concert by “American Idol” contestant Kellie Pickler. There will also be a trailer so you can drop off donated clothing and non-perishable food items for those in the community still in need. $10; children 6-11 $2; children under 6 free. Additional admission to the Kellie Pickler concert is $25.

MUSIC: Ray Murray & the Bomb Squad @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. The folk-rockin’ Bomb Squad (there’s no one in the band really named Ray Murray) celebrates the release of their new CD. 8pm. $14.

MUSIC: The Hearing Aides @ the Moon & River Cafe, Schenectady. The acoustic CD release party for “Go Deaf With the Hearing Aides!” 8pm. FREE. Related story; related story.
