FESTIVAL/MUSIC: The Restoration Festival @ St. Joseph’s Church in Albany. The generator-powered fest is still scheduled to take place with Slender Shoulders (3pm), Nick Wallas (3:30pm), Stompin Jug Ramblers (3:45pm), Ashley Pond (4:25pm), Swamp Baby (4:40pm), Littlefoot (5:20pm), We Are Jeneric (5:35pm), Bellflower (6:15pm), Matthew Carefully’s Undone Ensemble (6:30pm), Nursing Home Discoveries (7:10pm), Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo Banned (7:40pm), Mystery Mash (8:30pm), the Boston Celtics (9pm). The latest word: “the show goes on until it can’t go on! (We will make obvious, big announcements, but everything is as planned for now).” Unfortunately, both headliners – A Hawk & A Hacksaw and the Music Tapes – have been unable to make it to Albany and have had to cancel their performances. Admission to the fest is now FREE.

CANCELLED: All performances at Jacob’s Pillow in Becket have been cancelled.

CANCELLED: Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham has cancelled both performances of “Carousel.”

CANCELLED: The Boston Symphony @ Tanglewood, Lenox. For the first ever, Tanglewood has cancelled a performance due to the weather. And alas, it was the final symphony performance of the summer – Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. 2:30pm. $20-$102.

CANCELLED: Brights Eyes and Titus Andronicus @ the Calvin Theatre, Northampton.

CANCELLED: Sonny & Perley @ Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs

POSTPONED: Americann Idols Live @ the Times Union Center, Albany. Postponed to Sunday, September 4.

CANCELLED: Amtrak has cancelled all train service in the northeast.

CANCELLED: Bluestock Music Festival @ Hunter Mountain, Hunter. All performances are cancelled.

CANCELLED: Saratoga Race Track has cancelled all races.

POSTPONED: The Everything Under the Sun Festival at Noel Field in North Adams has been postponed to Saturday and Sunday, September 10 & 11.

CANCELLED: The final performance of “Ten Cents a Dance” at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Williamstown has been cancelled.

CANCELLED: Murderers Row, Cletus and Nineveh at Trick Shot Billiards in Clifton Park has been cancelled.

CLOSED: MASS MoCA in North Adams

CLOSED: Albany Institute of History and Art in Albany

CLOSED: The Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy

CLOSED: The Clark Art Institute in Williamstown

CLOSED: No shopping today. Crossgates, Colonie Center, Berkshire Mall and Clifton Park Center are all closed.

CLOSED/CANCELLED: The Albany Hibernian Hall is closed. The performance by Frank Jaklitsch is cancelled.

CANCELLED: Valley Rising Compilation Album Release Party featuring Joshua Meltzer, Dave Dersham, Wolfman Conspiracy, Doug Ratner and the Watchmen, the Raft, Sandy Bailey, Infinite August, Heather Maloney, Lux Deluxe, Jamie Kent & the Options, the Sun Parade, Darlingside @ the Iron Horse Music Hall, Northampton.
