It’s the Weekend!

It's Hurricane Irene...stock up on cookies!

There’s only two weekends left this summer season, so you’re not gonna let a little hurricane keep you from going out and having fun, are you? Get out there and soak up some weekend summer fun even if you have to slip on the hip boots. But first, we’d like to send out a great big thank-you to everyone who dropped by this week to add encouragement, support and, yes, criticism, too. And thanks for helping to spread the word about

Of course, we couldn’t possibly cover the wide, wonderful scope of offerings around town without a dedicated and devoted bunch of wonderful writers, photographers, artists, tipsters and other assorted enablers who continually enrich us all with their contributions. So a big salute goes out to this week’s community contributors:

Stanley Johnson
Dan Hogan
Janet Kwiatkowski
Timothy Reidy
Roger Houston
Rob Jonas
Eric Gleason
Jason Lehr
Al Goldberg
Larry Murray
Gail Burns
Mike Wren

any word from the rest fest folks? Everything else on Sunday appears to be cancelled.

  2. Greg says:

Eggman, here’s the latest word from Rest Fest: ” the show goes on until it can’t go on! (We will make obvious, big announcements, but everything is as planned for now)”
