Festival Fever: Albany LatinFest, 8/27/11

The 16th annual Albany LatinFest returns to Washington Park in Albany on Saturday, running from 11am til 6pm, celebrating Latino heritage with lots of ethnically diverse food, crafts, children’s activities and, of course, music! The fest is free and family-friendly.

In case of bad weather, the fest will move underneath the I-787 overpass at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch, the same rain site used for Alive at Five.

Here’s the schedule of performances for the 2011 LatinFest:

1pm: En Clave Dance Studio, DJ Rollo
2pm: Tony Swing (merengue and Latin swing)
3:30pm: Mob Man & Blaze
4pm: DJ Rollo
4:30pm: Tito Rojas (salsa veteran)
