MUSIC: Americana Tuesdays @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. Host band Dan Johnson & His Expert Sidemen welcome special guest MotherJudge. 8pm. $5.

BASEBALL/MUSIC: Ernie Williams @ Joe Bruno Stadium, Troy. The Tri-City Valleycats open a home stand against the Brooklyn Cyclones at 7pm. But you’ll want to get there early for a pre-game blues concert when the gates open at 5pm. $5, $10.

MUSIC: The Lustre Kings @ the Brunswick Family Community Center, Troy. Guitarslinger-vocalist Mark Gamsjager and the boys fire up another evening of rollicking rockabilly. 6:30pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Circle of Willis @ Stony Creek Town Park, Stony Creek. Rain or shine. 7pm. FREE.

ART: Art in the Park @ Congress Park, Saratoga Springs. It’s the dark day at the track, so why not enjoy an outdoor art exhibition. 10am-6pm. FREE.

MUSIC: The Bow Riders @ Onderdonk Memorial Park, East Greenbush. 6pm. FREE.

MUSIC: The St. Petersburg String Quartet @ the Clark Art Institute, Williamstown. The celebrated chamber ensemble performs with special guest pianist Gilbert Kalish. 8pm. $25; students $20.

THEATER: Kidz Theater @ Cook Park, Colonie. NYC theater troupe. Rain or shine. 6:30pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Courtney Van Dyke @ Riverfront Park, Rensselaer. Tribute to Patsy Cline. 6pm. FREE.

    Courtney Van Dyke’s a major talent, and there was a big crowd tonight at Riverfront Park for her renditions of some classic country songs. Let’s hope she does more shows this autumn.
