Blues, brews and BBQ…
It’s just all way too much to squeeze inside Hudson restaurant/hot-spot American Glory BBQ, so owner Joe Fierro is erecting a big tent at the corner of Warren and 5th streets in Hudson and movin’ it all outside on Saturday.
The big outdoor blowout kicks off at 12noon on Saturday, and rolls straight through to 12midnight – a 12 hour marathon of big, bad, beautiful blues music. And it’s FREE. Here’s the schedule of performers:
12noon-1:30pm: Josh & Monti Bopp
2-3:30pm: Sonny Rock & the Boilermakers
4-5:30pm: More Than Real
6-7:30pm: The Jonny Monster Band
8-9:30pm: Professor Louie & The Crowmatix
10-11:30pm: The Willie Amrod Band
11:30pm-???: Free-for-all jam with the above…
And what about the brews? Oh, they got that covered, too, with two dozen tasty varieties to quench your thirst.
If you want to move inside American Glory, you can do that, too, of course, and acoustic duo Dos Diablos will be churning out ’70s classic rock favorites beginning at 8:30pm on Saturday. And, yeah, that’s free, too.
But wait, there’s more…
In fact, the tent will be up all weekend, and there’s another, more musically diverse line-up of talent slated to rock the street on Sunday (August 14):
