Cancelled: The Monkees @ the Palace Theatre, 9/9/11

Apparently even downsizing the concert from the Times Union Center to the Palace Theatre just couldn’t save this one…

The press release issued by the Palace Theatre says, “Due to internal group issues and conflicts, the remaining 10 dates of the Monkees 45th Reunion Tour, including the September 9 performance at the Palace Theatre, have been cancelled.”

Refunds are available at the place of purchase.

UPDATE (4:37pm, Tuesday, August 9) from Peter Tork’s Facebook page:
“Dear Fans and Friends,
I am writing to confirm that the Monkees tour has been cancelled for reasons that I cannot discuss at this time. I can only say that it has to do with business matters. I sincerely regret that it is not possible to continue this wonderful tour. I especially regret the inconvenience to those of you whose plans have been disrupted. Thank you for all your love and support. I hope to see you on the road sometime.
Be well, Peter”
