ArtBeat: NADA Hudson @ The Basilica, Hudson 7/30-31

NADA HudsonIn what sounds like the be-all, end-all art happening of the universe, NADA Hudson takes over The Basilica in Hudson this weekend with a large-scale exhibition featuring a whopping 51 site-specific projects showcasing contemporary sculpture and installation as well as performances each afternoon.

NADA Hudson is free, although if you register now, for a mere $35 you can buy a VIP Lounge pass for Saturday that gains you access to a luxury SUV parked outside the entrance of Hudson Basilica with “complimentary full service bar, 24 hour security, climate controlled interior and savory snacks.” I’m not making this up.

You may also want to keep in mind that the Belo 3rd Gallery Stroll on Saturday from 5-8pm, with the galleries, shops and restaurants of this “other end of Warren Street” open late for your perambulation and perursal.
