Bob Weir Postpones Sold-Out Colonial Theatre Show

Yes, the former Grateful Dead singer-guitarist was just up at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center last week with his band Furthur (read our review w/photos here), but Bob Weir was also slated to play a solo acoustic show at the intimate Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield on Friday, August 5.

The show sold out quickly, but now comes the news that Weir is postponing the Colonial Theatre show and all other performances between August 2-7 due to “unforeseen circumstances.” No new make-up date for the show has been announced yet.

Ticket-holders are urged to hold onto their tix, although refunds are available. Contact the Colonial box office for further details at 413-997-4444.

Weir is also scheduled to play a solo acoustic show at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on Saturday, September 3. That show is sold out, and is still scheduled to take place. Also, look for Weir to perform with the Levon Helm Band at the annual moe.down festival at Gelston Castle Estate in Mohawk on Sunday, September 4.
