Festival Fever: Athens Street Festival, 7/9/11

The one-day, free Athens Street Festival in – where else? – Athens features three stages of music of all sorts. The 37th annual fest is all happening on Saturday, July 9. (Well, actually that’s not quite true. The country combo Peaceful Country kicks off the fest at 7pm on Friday, July 8. But you know what we mean, right?)

The schedule is jam-packed with lots of activities and demonstrations, craft exhibits, food, lighthouse tours, carnival rides, a classic car show and all manner of family friendly merriment.
