Boeing-Boeing, a Tony Award-winning farce at the Theater Barn starring Matthew Daly and directed by Phil Rice? Sign me up! I couldn’t imagine a better piece of summer fun, and when I walked into the Barn and saw Abe Phelps’ glorious suave and swinging sixties set, I was in heaven.

How could anything possibly go wrong??

Two hours later I was sitting in my car reading the program over and over hoping that somewhere, somehow, the answer to that question was lurking amongst the advertisements or list of major donors. Surely it was in there, the sentence that read: “Gail, this show wasn’t funny because…” But it wasn’t.. I asked my companion and she didn’t have the answer either, but she agreed that it just wasn’t funny.
