The Bearsville Theater in Woodstock continues to pump new shows into the Nippertown concert calendar for the summer and beyond. Here are some of the new concerts that have been announced just this week:
Little Feat at 8pm on Tuesday, August 2 ($65 reserved seats; $45 general admission)
WeMustBe at 9pm on Friday, August 12 ($10)
Brother Joscephus & the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra at 9pm on Friday, August 19 ($15)
Badfinger at 9pm on Saturday, August 27 ($40)
The Grand Slambovians at 9pm on Friday, November 25 ($20)
While Tony Award-winning actress Blythe Danner is certainly no stranger to the Berkshires – as a longtime member of the Williamstown Theatre Festival family – she’ll be making her debut performance at the Tanglewood Jazz Festival in Lenox, as the featured guest for the live taping of “Judy Carmichael’s Jazz Inspired” radio show at 2pm on Saturday, September 3. Danner will be singing with pianist Mike Renzi and bassist Neal Miner in Ozawa Hall. Ticket prices range from $19-$56.
Club Helsinki in Hudson has announced a handful of new upcoming shows, including the double bill of Saratoga’s own Railbird with Yassou Benedict at 9pm on Friday, July 15 ($TBA); bluegrass outfit Mountain Heart at 8pm on Thursday, July 21 ($TBA); and reggae-meets-Afrobeat sextet Dub Is a Weapon at 9pm on Friday, August 19 ($15).
