All Five Berkshire Half-Price Ticket Booths Reopen Friday, June 17 [Berkshire On Stage]

A sure sign that the Berkshire high season is about to begin is the reopening of the half price ticket booths that serve primarily area residents. Over the years their number has grown to five, strategically located in south, central and north county, plus one in neighboring New York State.

Once again it is Barrington Stage Company (BSC) and the Berkshire Visitors Bureau who set up these ½ TIX operations in a collaborative program that has all the major performing groups participating.

2011 marks the tenth year that the ½ TIX program makes half-priced tickets available to residents and visitors in the Berkshire community. Patrons can buy same-day, half-priced tickets to cultural events at area ½ TIX Booths June 17 through September 4, 2011.
