FESTIVAL/MUSIC: The Bluegrass Roundup @ MoConchie’s Heritage Acres, Galway. Regional bluegrass fest featuring Don’t Quit Your Day Job, the Bluebillies, Cliff Down & the Barn Pickers, the Evans Family Band, Out of the Bluegrass, Buck Mountain Bluegrass, Flood Road, Stoned on Bluegrass, Marcotte Mountain Music. 10am-10pm. $11. MUSIC: The Baseball Project @ Brewery Ommegang, Cooperstown. The all-star sports-rock combo featuring members of R.E.M., the Dream Syndicate, Young Fresh Fellows and more. With American Babies. Gates open at 7pm; music at 8pm. $15 in advance; $20 at the gate.

ARTS WALK: First Friday @ various locations, Albany. Do a little strolling and catch some art exhibitions and live music along the way. 5-9pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Phil Camp @ O’Toole’s, Queensbury. CD release party for “Evolution.” 6pm.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Mountain Jam @ Hunter Mountain, Hunter. Warren Haynes’ annual fest continues with performances by the Warren Haynes Band, 7 Walkers, Lotus, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Soulive, Electric Hot Tuna, the Heavy Pets, Pieta Brown and lots more. Music officially starts at 12noon. Today only $79 in advance; $99 at the gate. (All-fest passes also available.) Through Sunday.

MUSIC: The Stony Creek Band @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. The most enduring (and endearing) band in the Adirondacks. 8pm. $14 in advance; $16 at the door.

MUSIC: Rebecca Cline & Nicki Denner @ Union College’s Emerson Auditorium, Schenectady. The Ahora, Latin/Jazz! series presents the dueling keyboardists in a tribute concert, “The Caribbean Piano in Afro-Cuban Jazz: Tribute to Noro Morales.” 7:30pm. $15; students and seniors $5.

PARTICIPATORY DANCE: First Friday Capital Swing Dance @ the Elks Lodge, Albany. Bob Englert offers free swing dance lessons at 7:30pm, followed by the rollicking rockabilly of Mark Gamsjager & the Lustre Kings at 8:30pm. $15; seniors & students $10.

MUSIC: The Arch Stanton Quartet @ 9 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs. With AS4 drummer Jim Ketterer relocating to Cairo, Egypt, Arch and the boys make their official debut with a new man 0n the drum throne – Steve Partyka. 9pm.

FILM: “City of Life and Death” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Chinese director Lu Chuan examines the harrowing Japanese Army’s siege of the Chinese capital of Nanking in 1937, during which 300,000 citizens died. 2009; in glorious black and white. 7:30pm. $7; students $5.

MUSIC: Enter the Haggis @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Celtic rock from the Great White North. With Chris Neumann and Simple Machines opening. 9pm.

THEATER: “Hart’s Tavern” @ the Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Averill Park. The Circle Theatre Players present the world premiere of playwright-composer Diane Doring’s play loosely based on Shakespeare’s “Two Gentlemen of Verona.” 8pm. $16; under 18 $10. Through June 12.
