MUSIC: Taylor Hicks @ the Wood Theater, Glens Falls. The 2006 “American Idol” winner rolled into town last year in the touring production of “Grease” at Proctors. This time around its a bonafide concert situation. 7:30pm. $48.50.

FILM: Charlie Chaplin Film Fest @ Proctors, Schenectady. “City Lights” at 3pm; “The Kid” & “A Dog’s Life” at 5:15pm; “Modern Times” at 7:15pm. $6 each.

MUSIC: Falu @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. The classically trained Indian singer embraces modern rock. 8pm. FREE.
