MUSIC/RADIO: The Albany Symphony Orchestra @ Carnegie Hall, NYC. The ASO make their Carnegie Hall debut with conductor David Alan Miller. And if you can’t make it down to the Big Apple to see them in person, you can listen live on radio station WMHT (89.1 FM). 8pm.

FILM: “Shaft” @ Proctors, Schenectady. In the latest installment of the Soul Cinema Film Series, Samuel L. Jackson stars in John Singleton’s 2000 update of the Richard Roundtree classic. 7pm. $12.
