LECTURE: Dr. Temple Grandin @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. The livestock handling facilities designer, author and subject of the 2010 Emmy Award-winning HBO movie, “Temple Grandin,” offers a lecture in conjunction with SUNY Cobleskill’s centennial celebration. 7pm. $12.

MUSIC: YouTube’s DigiTour @ Jillian’s, Albany. Featuring the Gregory Brothers, David Choi, Dave Days, Mystery Guitar Man, more… 8pm. $10 in advance; $15 at the door. UPDATE: This concert has been cancelled.

MUSIC: Guster @ Northern Lights, Clifton Park. The Boston-based alt-pop-rockers roll into Northern Lights. With Good Old War. 8pm. $25.50 in advance; $27 at the door.

WORKSHOP: Salva Chemo @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. One of the finest traditional vocal groups from the Caucasus Republic of Georgia, the trio – featuring Tristan Sikharulidze, Guri Sikharulidze and Merab Kalandadze – offers a two-hour workshop in complex polyphonic vocal singing. 6pm. $18 in advance; $20 at the door.
