What do you get when you combine the stagger ‘n’ swagger of former members of the Decadent Royals and French Letter with iron-man vocalist Tommy Love of Blue Machine and Blue Hand Luke to recreate the music of the Rolling Stones?
You get Albany’s latest, greatest tribute band, Sway.
The simple fact is that the world’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll band needs a reverent, talented band to pull off the cuts-deep tunes. Sway is all that with a treasure trove of Stone gems from obscure to popular that are sure to please both the casual listener and the die-hard Stones fan. This is not a task the band takes lightly, but they do it with a true love of the Stones in their hearts.
The results of this tribute-done-right are awesome to behold. Get your ya ya’s out. Get your rocks off. Sway knows it’s only rock ‘n’ roll, but you will like it.
Sway will be at the Fuller Roadhouse Grille in Colonie at 9:30pm tonight. Admission is $5. This venue has been heating up of late with bookings by the likes of Toys in the Attic, Blue Machine and now Sway.
