Say it ain’t so, Joe…

Alas, ’tis true. BEWARE! The Other Head of Science – one of the most adventurous live bands to ever call Nippertown home – is hanging it up. Closing up shop. Going their separate ways. KAPUT!

But fortunately they’ll be leaving us with plenty of fond – if totally twisted – musical memories, and one last shebang to create some new ones.

BEWARE! will be playing their farewell show upstairs at Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany at 8pm on Saturday, June 4. The band’s Facebook page promises, “This will be the first, last and only ‘Farewell’ show in the band’s near five-year run, and as such it is expected to be one-of-a-kind (to say the least) and a unique, life-affirming experience (to say too much).”

Joining in the farewell festivities at Valentine’s will be Barons in the Attic and Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo Banned. Admission will be $8.

The BEWARE! boys have also issued one final warning: “The band, at this time, can neither confirm nor deny the use of WATER CANNONS. However, expect a longer-than-usual set, and be sure to consume plenty of fluids beforehand.”
