Second City Improv: Fair And Balanced

We could all use a few good laughs these days, couldn’t we?

Well then, the place to be is the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on Thursday night, when the world famous comedy improv group the Second City takes over the stage with their latest production “Fair & Unbalanced.”

For more than a half century, the Chicago-based improv sketch comedy revue has been making people laugh with their witty, skewed perspective on today’s headlines and other current events. Some of our sharpest comics have learned their craft at the Second City, from Robert Klein to John Belushi, from Bill Murray to Tina Fey, from Steve Carell to Stephen Colbert.

And on Thursday evening, WNYT-TV news anchor Benita Zahn will be joining them as their special guest.

Post continues below...

Showtime is 7:30pm on Thursday, and tix are priced at $20, $27, $32; students $15. A portion of each ticket sold will go to Building on Love, which supports Ronald McDonald House Charities.

BUT WAIT… What’s this? A FREE pair of tickets? That’s right, we’re giving away FREE TIX to a lucky Nippertown reader! To enter the contest, just post a comment below. Please leave your email address, too. We won’t publish it, but we’ll use it to contact you if you win. The winner will be selected at random and notified on Thursday morning. Good luck! Congratulations, Jackers!
