Reggie’s Red Hot Feetwarmers

Congratulations and best wishes go out to Reggie’s Red Hot Feetwarmers, the roamin’, unplugged, old-time New Orleans jazz band that has been a fiixture to the Saratoga Race Track (and lots of other Nippertown venues and events) for more than 25 years.

Led by Don Dworkin (aka Reggie Dwightman, Doc Scanlon), the band is headed overseas for a three-month extended residency in China. Beginning on Tuesday, April 5, they’ll be pumping out those old Dixieland and traditional jazz classics at the House of Blues & Jazz in Shanghai. The band is scheduled to play six nights a week with Mondays off.

Reggie’s Red Hot Feetwarmers will wrap up their three-month stay in Shanghai on Sunday, June 26, which means they should be back here in Nippertown in plenty of time for the Saratoga horse racing season, which kicks off on Friday, July 22.

Bon voyage, boys!
