Ruth Moody, What Do You Listen to When You Clean the House?

The Wailin' Jennys

The Wailin' Jennys

“The first thing that comes to mind is Michael Franti & Spearhead, because that’s my brother’s favorite house-cleaning music. I used to live with him, and I always knew that when Spearhead came on it was time to clean.

Now that I don’t live with him, I don’t have access to that record, or I probably would put it on to get me in the mood.”

Ruth Moody (vocals, guitar, accordion, banjo, bodhrán) and her bandmates Nicky Mehta and Heather Masse in the Wailin’ Jennys step into the spotlight at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall at 8pm on Saturday. Tix are $25, $29 and $35; students $15. NOTE: We’re giving away a pair of FREE TIX for the Wailin’ Jennys concert. Just go here.
